Sarah Fergusons Upcoming Move To A Former Cattle Shed

Reports suggest that Sarah Ferguson is moving into a cosy "granny flat" at her daughter Princess Beatrice's residence following her eviction from Royal Lodge.

The 66-year-old former Duchess of York is described as "anxious" about the possibility of losing her home, with insiders hinting that she and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who was once known as Prince Andrew, might be going their separate ways.

The two are expected to vacate the Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park soon, amidst controversy linked to the former royal member.

It appears Sarah might settle in a "granny annexe" within the £3.5 million Oxfordshire estate owned by her daughter Beatrice and son-in-law Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Someone close to the family commented: "This setup would be ideal for the former Duchess, allowing her to stay near her daughter while maintaining independence from the main house where Beatrice and Eduardo reside."

"Sarah would conveniently be just a short walk away, allowing her to readily babysit Sienna, whom she cherishes, especially with Eugenie residing in Portugal—it's perfectly logical."

The annexe is a quaint one-bedroom former cattle shed at Beatrice's home, situated in a picturesque village.

Beatrice, 37, and Eduardo, 41, have recently completed renovations on the outbuilding, as detailed in planning documents available on the council’s website, indicating various improvements made over the years.

Preparations are underway for Sarah, a writer, who may move in before Christmas, though Andrew, 65, is predicted to celebrate one last Christmas at Royal Lodge.

A source disclosed to the Mail on Sunday recently: "The granny annexe appears ready for occupancy now.

"Isn't it simply perfect for Fergie? Stonework has been refreshed, gutters upgraded, and the woodwork has been tastefully painted. It features its own entrance."

Last month, propane gas cylinders supposedly arrived at the estate for the annexe amidst the freezing conditions.

The living space is already equipped with what Sarah would need; she has lived with Andrew for numerous years following their 1996 separation.

The previous estate owners completed the annexe, but residents noted a significant refurbishment in recent months.

The masonry has been redone, drainage replaced, and the annexe has a private entrance, a supposed perfect match for the former spouse of the embattled Duke of York.

Earlier suggestions, however, indicated that Fergie might consider moving abroad after the Andrew controversy.

Her sister and closest confidante, Jane Ferguson, lives in Australia, and Princess Eugenie possesses a £3.6 million beachfront property in Portugal.

However, staying closer to home seems more likely for the grandmother of four, who has been visible on TV in this region in recent years.

This could potentially open doors for increased media opportunities here, notwithstanding speculation that Sarah stepped down from This Morning and other ITV programs.
