Meadow Walker Honors Father Paul On 12th Death Anniversary With Childhood Photos
On Nov. 30, 2013, a tragic car accident claimed the life of a 'Fast & Furious' star, Paul Walker
Meadow Walker is honouring her father, Paul Walker, on the 12th anniversary of his death.
On Sunday, the sole offspring of the late actor paid homage to her dad by posting a collection of nostalgic pictures from her younger years on Instagram.
In the pictures, which seem to have been captured on Meadow’s birthday, the Fast & Furious icon is seen presenting a dessert adorned with candles as Meadow sits atop a counter.
The heartwarming pair appeared to be about to share a kiss in the endearing second image, while in the third picture, Meadow beams a wide smile at the camera with her dad watching her fondly and smiling.
“A dozen years without you… My love for you is eternal,” Meadow wrote in the caption.
Presley Gerber, the child of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, along with Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin’s daughter Delilah Belle, were among those expressing love to fellow model Meadow, 27, in the comment section, both adding a simple heart emoji.
Paul died on Nov. 30, 2013, at 40 years old. The car accident occurred shortly after he departed from an event for Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW), the charity organisation he initiated, located in California.
In September, Meadow commemorated what would have been her father's 52nd birthday.
She shared a black-and-white photo of herself sitting on her father’s lap, captioning the Sept. 12 Instagram post with, “Happy birthday, daddy. I will love you endlessly and miss you every day.”
The image showed Paul dressed in a rugby shirt, jeans, and Converse sneakers as he appeared to be taking off one of his daughter's shoes.
Paul's longtime Fast & Furious co-star Vin Diesel commented, “🙏🏽.”
Before the 10th anniversary of Paul's passing, his brother Cody Walker told PEOPLE that the late actor would be "so proud" of the person Meadow has grown into.
Cody shared that his niece, who founded and leads the Paul Walker Foundation, which celebrates the actor's "passion for the ocean, "has taken up the torch from her father.
