Sarah Ferguson Hints At Future Plans Amid Cattle Shed Rumors

For nearly three decades, Sarah Ferguson hasn't been an active royal since her divorce from Andrew, yet she has recently addressed life after Royal Lodge with a significant statement.

King Charles has instructed Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and his former sister-in-law Fergie to leave their lavish Royal Lodge dwelling following new disclosures about their long-standing connection to Jeffrey Epstein.

Released emails exposed that Andrew and Fergie maintained communication with the convicted billionaire for a more extended period than they had formerly disclosed.

Located near Windsor Castle, the once-married duo had lived in the 30-room Grade II listed property for many years.

However, as the controversy surrounding them peaked, they consented to relinquish the keys.

Departing from Royal Lodge means Fergie is on the hunt for new living arrangements, while Andrew is ready to move to a property in Sandringham, the monarch's private, extensive estate in Norfolk.

Nevertheless, her representative denied claims that Sarah might relocate to a granny annexe on the estate of Princess Beatrice's home, stating to PEOPLE magazine: "She is currently examining several options, and no definitive choice has been made."

"Contrary to assumptions, she never requested accommodation or provisions for herself," an insider added. "She intends to continue building an independent life."

A second confidant close to Sarah mentioned that she plans to find her own residence and is "aiming to progress autonomously."

Rumours suggest that Sarah won't be relocating to Sandringham or accepting her daughter Beatrice's assistance offer.

There were suggestions that Princess Beatrice might step in to provide shelter for her mother by offering a renovated "cattle shed" on her Cotswolds estate as a probable "granny annexe" for her mother.

The revamped outbuilding, reportedly "redesigned with new doors and windows," stands apart from the main six-bedroom house across a courtyard, boasting its separate entrance.

An alternative might see Sarah possibly relocating to Portugal, where she could reside at her other daughter, Princess Eugenie',s estate in a prestigious locale dubbed the "Hamptons of Europe".

Eugenie owns a £3.6 million property within the exclusive CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club, surrounded by a plethora of A-list celebrities, including Madonna, Nicole Kidman, Michael Fassbender, and Scarlett Johansson.

Meanwhile, it was suggested yesterday that Andrew is insisting on a "sizeable" residence on the Sandringham Estate, complete with staff, including a cook, gardener, housekeeper, driver, and security personnel.

The controversy enveloping Sarah has also disrupted her professional obligations. Her forthcoming children's book is reportedly "discarded" and removed from shelves by her publisher.

The book 'Flora and Fern: Kindness Along the Way' was originally slated for release on 9 October, but was postponed to 20 November. The book has now been withdrawn from publishing plans, is no longer for sale from major sellers, and author events and book signings have been quietly called off.

Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond informed the Mirror: "As I've remarked before, for some reason, Andrew and Fergie have been drawn to immense fortunes like moths to a flame.

“Sarah, in particular, appears utterly unable to live within her means since marrying into the Royal Family. Part of her financial woes arises from her generosity.

"She always enjoyed gifting people lavishly, possibly due to low self-esteem, believing it was a way to earn their affection.

"As she mentioned, she was perennially attempting to be 'the pleaser'. Yet both Andrew and Fergie seem ensnared in an endless cycle of pursuing wealth, regardless of their target or the morality involved.

“Now, in their 60s and both deeply disgraced, surely the moment has arrived for them to adjust their lifestyle to their financial capacity, and to lead a modest life without further embarrassing themselves and the larger family.”

Despite potential lucrative deals, royal analyst Jennie holds the belief that while "there's no predicting Sarah's next move".

She added, “She has shared her account before and has resiliently rebounded from acute humiliation and distress. This time, however, I struggle to envision a path back for her.

"Any association with an individual as vile as Epstein is revolting. Continuing that bond post his conviction for sex offences is indefensible.

"Selling her narrative and profiting from discussing Epstein would likewise be indefensible. If she possesses any sense—which is questionable—she should maintain a low profile and conduct her life quietly, out of the public eye."
